 The Body Snatchers

Part III

Our last newsletter ended with a quote from Dr. Hulda Clark's groundbreaking work The Cure for all Diseases. It was such an incredible revelation for me that I'd like to repeat it here.

"No matter how long and confusing is the list of symptoms a person has, from chronic fatigue to infertility to mental problems, I am sure to find only two things wrong: they have in them pollutants and/or parasites. I never find lack of exercise, vitamin deficiencies, hormone levels or anything else to be a primary causative factor. . . It's a valiant quest: The quest for health. With optimism in one hand and determination in the other, you too can work miracles for yourself that my clients accomplished in the case histories (numerous documented accounts may be found in Dr. Clark's books). More good news is that it is not expensive. The cost will range from a few hundred dollars to only a few thousand in order to eliminate both problems and cure your chronic diseases."

Heavy Metals

How are toxic metals getting into our bodies and what symptoms are they producing? My first answer to this question came when I first read the book The Cure for all Diseases by Dr. Clark. While Dr. Clark does not have a medical degree, her background in formal education, naturopathy, direct experience and training, as well as high level research, is extremely impressive.

Early in her studies, Dr. Clark learned that all of the parasites and pollutants that cause illness have a vibration with a unique frequency. She knew that if she could isolate each pathogen that she found in patients with cancer, aides, heart disease, diabetes, stroke and other serious illnesses, this could be a giant step in the direction of finding a cure. Through her years of research she was able to catalogue the frequencies of thousands of parasites and pollutants. Among the pollutants she found over 30 heavy metals. I’ll mention only those that she found most consistently in her patients, and were the most damaging to our health. These include aluminum, arsenic, barium, chromium, copper, lead, mercury and nickel.

As many of you are aware, most of these elements are required by the body, but as Dr. Clark has stated in her book, The Cure for All Diseases, they must be in organic form. When found on the supermarket or drugstore shelf, they are practically never organic. This is the reason Dr. Clark says that many supplements do more harm than good. “Biochemists know that a mineral in raw element form always inhibits the enzyme using that mineral. Copper (for example) from the meat and vegetables you eat are essential. Inorganic copper, like you would get from a copper-bottomed kettle or copper plumbing, is carcinogenic. Unfortunately, the inorganic form of metals is what pervades our environment.”

Aluminum is suspected of being a cardiovascular and blood toxicant, neurotoxicant, and respiratory toxicant.

Aluminum gets into the body when we wrap our food in aluminum foil, cook our food in aluminum pots and pans, drink our soft drinks from aluminum cans, shake our salt from plastic salt shakers or bake our cakes with baking powder. Several years ago I decided to list ingredients that I found in personal care products I found on drugstore shelves. Every deodorant on the shelf contained aluminum. Several research studies showed that aluminum deodorants may cause breast cancer. Many believe that the body absorbs metal molecules merely by touching them.

Arsenic is recognized as a carcinogen, and developmental toxicant, and is suspected of being a cardiovascular and blood toxicant, gastrointestinal and liver toxicant, Kidney toxicant, neurotoxicant, respiratory toxicant plus skin and sense organ toxicant.

Arsenic may get into the body through our food and air (used in pesticides), lawns treated with herbicides and pesticides, our furniture and carpets that are treated for stain resistant chemicals.

Barium is suspected of being developmental toxicant, neurotoxicant, and respiratory toxicant.

Barium may be found primarily in women’s lipstick, but has also been found in some cosmetics, dental fillings, and exhaust fumes.

Dr. Clark has named chromium (along with nickel) as the most carcinogenic metal in the Periodic Table. It is also suspected of being a cardiovascular and blood toxicant, developmental toxicant, gastrointestinal and liver toxicant, reproductive toxicant and respiratory toxicant.

Chromium is often found in dental fillings, eyebrow pencil, and water softening salts. Stainless steel cookware contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel. So “throw those metal pots away,” says Dr. Clark. “all metal seeps.”

Copper has been known to cause, cancer, leukemia, schizophrenia, high blood pressure and infertility. Dr Clark found copper in all cancerous tumors that she tested. “This makes plumbing the second greatest hazard,” --next to mercury -- says Dr. Clark. Copper is also a cardiovascular and blood toxicant, developmental toxicant, gastrointestinal and liver toxicant, reproductive toxicant and respiratory toxicant.

Copper can be found in some tooth fillings, copper pots and pans and copper piping that can be found in the plumbing of older houses.

Lead is a known carcinogen, developmental toxicant, and reproductive toxicant. It is suspected of being a cardiovascular and blood toxicant, endocrine toxicant, gastrointestinal and liver toxicant, Immunotoxicant, kidney toxicant, neurotoxicant, respiratory toxicant, skin and sense organ toxicant. Lead toxicity also often causes leg cramps or spasms, and lowers the body’s immune defenses.

Lead may be found in soldered or galvanized plumbing,

Mercury is a recognized developmental toxicant and suspected of being a cardiovascular and blood toxicant, developmental toxicant, endocrine toxicant, gastrointestinal and liver toxicant, kidney toxicant, neurotoxicant, reproductive toxicant and respiratory toxicant. It is suspected of penetrating, and impairing the function of, virtually every cell in the body including the brain. Neuropsychiatric symptoms include; insomnia, nervousness, hallucinations, memory loss, headache, dizziness, anxiety, irritability, drowsiness, emotional instability, depression and poor cognitive function.

The American Dental Association's (ADA) long-standing policy has been that mercury poses no health risk and has, in the past ridiculed, and even destroyed the careers, of dentists who objected to their advise. And "The attitude of the majority of dentists," says Dr. Clark, "is: whatever (ADA) says is OK, they will do. The more reasonable philosophy is that there is no tooth worth saving if it damages your immune system."

This is the reason that Dr. Clark often suggests to her patients that removal of mercury fillings be the first course of action in any healing modality. In addition to amalgam fillings, mercury may also infect the body from fish and seafood, pesticides, laxatives, batteries, paper and pulp products, drinking water, and paint products.

Nickel is a known carcinogen. It is suspected of being a cardiovascular and blood toxicant, developmental toxicant, immunotoxicant, kidney toxicant, neurotoxicant, reproductive toxicant, respiratory toxicant, skin and sense organ toxicant.

Nickel can get into the body through amalgam fillings, cosmetics (check your ingredients). Nickel is found in the soil and usually clings to vegetables in microscopic quantities. Stainless steel is 8% nickel and is found in you knives forks and spoons. Many foods interact with the metal. You can often taste it. Bacteria in your body need nickel to survive. When you eat with metal flatware, you are helping bacteria destroy your own body. Chicken feed also has nickel, so eating chicken or chicken eggs put nickel into the body. Oils on your skin dissolve nickel in metal jewelry, watches and metal eyeglasses, and transport it into the body. Once you get all the nickel out of your body, you might begin to notice hair beginning to fill in the bald spots. You can also stop prostate problems dead in their tracks by eliminating nickel pollution of your body. To get rid of nickel already in the body, Dr. Clark recommends 500mg. of histidine once a day for three weeks. Histidine is an effective nickel chelator.

It's All In Your Head:

"Dr. Hal A. Huggins, author of It's all In Your Head received his DDS from the University of Nebraska. Since 1962 he has practiced general dentistry with an emphasis on nutrition. In 1973 he became involved in the study of mercury toxicity and its impact on human health. Through the course of his investigation of the mechanisms of toxicity as they relate to auto-immune disease, Dr. Huggins earned a Master of Science from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In 1983, Dr. Huggins began a full time practice devoted to diagnosing and planning treatment for patients suffering from mercury toxicity."

During his research to discover why mercury is so devastating to the health, Dr Huggins discovered that the mercury itself does not cause illness, but rather it's the electromagnetic energy emanating from the mercury. The following is an excerpt from his groundbreaking text.

"Mercury [energy] kills cells by interfering with their ability to exchange oxygen, nutrients, and waste through the cell membrane. Inside the cell, mercury destroys our genetic code, DNA, leaving us without the ability to reproduce that cell ever again. Immunologically, mercury embeds itself in a cell membrane, giving the cell the appearance of being a 'nonself,' which is the trigger for the immune system to destroy that specific cell. With mercury in your cell membranes, the immune system will start destroying your own tissues, thus the term autoimmune disease… Mercury can interfere with nerve impulse transmissions, causing organs to get wrong messages. This may be related to frequent memory problems,.. Mercury can become attached to hormones and deactivate them, even though blood tests say that plenty of hormone is present. Many hormonal deficiencies, including thyroid, pancreas, and sex hormones, are the result of this process… When mercury interferes with energy production and oxygen transport, all cells are affected."

"Eureka!" I said to myself when I first read these paragraphs. Here is the cause of every symptom I've ever had over the past 40 years -- The hypoglycemia, the hypothyroidism, the allergies, the chronic fatigue, the poor memory, the shortness of breath, the dry skin, the hair loss, and dozens of symptoms too numerous to mention.
